It's that time of the month people (and I don't mean 'that' time of the month), the time where I share with you the Mac lipstick I have purchased for the month of January. 1 Month 1 Mac is the series where I will buy one Mac lipstick each month for the entire year!
So as you may have gathered from the title, this months pick was Lady Danger. Lady Danger has a matte finish and Mac describe it as a 'vivid bright coral-red', however I would label it as more of an 'orange toned red' myself.
The matte formula means that it lasts a fair few hours without re-application, but can be quite drying so I would advise applying a lip balm to your lips first. Although it is drying after while on the lips, I was glad to find that it isn't the type of matte that drags the lips when applying and goes on quite smoothly.
If you are looking for a statement red that is more than you average 'classic red' then Lady Danger is the girl for you! I am very happy with this months purchase, although I have to admit I have already been browsing for February's choice!
