I received the most recent Mac Keepsakes gift set for Christmas from my sister, and as any lover of all things beauty would be, I was absolutely chuffed with it.
You are all likely familiar with the Mac Viva Glam collections, so I just wanted to share with you the most recent family member. The set comes with 2 lipsticks and this beautiful BEAUTIFUL makeup bag.

stand out in your lipstick collection. The lipsticks are labelled Rihanna Viva Glam 1 -which is a frost finish 'classic' red and Rihanna Viva Glam 2 - also a frost finish, metallic Mauve.
I think the red is the type of red that suits most skin tones, and although it is a bold colour, the frost finish means it is wearable for even those that are slightly afraid of 'going bold'.
The Metallic Mauve is a bit more of an unusual colour which does mean stepping out of ones comfort zone. However once applied it isn't as scary as it appears in the bullet. This also works well layered over a dark lip colour, I tried it over a dark purple lip pencil all over the lips and loved the result.
Because of the frost finish these lipsticks aren't as long wearing as your matte Mac lipstick, however if you don't mind reapplying throughout the day/night then they are definitely worth the purchase. The set was originally priced on the Mac website for £29 which it think is an absolute steal! Unfortunately though I cannot find anywhere that this is still available, so if you do spot one grab it whilst you can!
